Jaki Johnsen
Principal Production Designer, Architecture and Theatre Design
Jaki began her career in design with a prestigious one-year internship at the Metropolitan Opera, upon completing an AAS and BFA in Architecture and Theatre Design from the New York School of Design. From this auspicious beginning in one of the most competitive markets in the world, she has continued to grow as an artist and professional. Her curriculum vitae includes project leadership roles at Premier TV & Production Design Firm, in New York City, PDG.
Prior to her collaboration with fbi productions, Jaki worked for several years in such noted media as Dateline, MSNBC, and VTV. She also steered design projects for numerous NBC and Fox affiliate stations internationally. This led to project leadership roles with the Museum & Corporate Theatre Design Firm, the AT&T Technology Exhibit, Shanghai Science Center, as well as high profile communications projects with Ford Motor Company and GM. Her extensive portfolio includes such iconic brands as Harley Davidson, Glamour Magazine, Golden Nugget Casino, CBS TV, Deutsche Bank, The Conference Board, and Wilhelmina Modeling Agency
In her work with fbi productions, Jaki has brought her expertise to multimedia product launches, theatrical productions, live marketing events, strategic branding, and other high-concept design and technology-intensive projects.
