Varoon
Deo-Singh
Media Coordinator
Varoon Deo-Singh emigrated from Trinidad in 1987. Prior
to arriving in New York City, Varoon’s experience
in cinema was limited to watching whatever showed at the
drive-in theater and the two available channels on television
(which sometimes showed the same thing)! His fascination
with films, computers, and music would change upon becoming
a New Yorker, what with New York’s cinematic scope
and high-tech economy. Varoon channeled his growing love
of the arts and e-commerce: He earned an Associates Degree
in Applied Science for Computer Programming from the Borough
of Manhattan Community College, and then a Bachelor of Science
in Electronic Design and Multimedia from City College, of
the City University of New York.
Varoon began working in media and Web design while attending
City College. He has since applied expertise in his work
with a number of New York City firms, including the Law
Offices of Spar and Bernstein, Hewson Group, Ltd., and Bollywood
Group, an international entertainment conglomerate that
specializes in Indian cinema, television, music, and fashion.
In addition, Varoon is an avid photographer and is now building
his portfolio for an exhibition in the near future.
Since joining fbi, Varoon has worked closely with the creative
design and video, film, and events departments on numerous
projects, including Drive Performance for Volvo Japan.
